Sourdough Master Support
Sourdough Master is a sourdough recipe calculator and bake planner by Pixel Crust. It runs entirely on your device: no account, no sign-in, and no internet connection required.
Getting help
Email makerpond@gmail.com. This is the only support channel, and it is answered by one person, usually within a few days.
To make a problem easier to solve, please include:
- Your device and its system version, for example "iPhone 14, iOS 18" or "Pixel 7, Android 15".
- The language you use the app in.
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
Please do not attach private recipes or backup files unless they are needed to explain the problem.
My reminders do not arrive
Reminders are optional and are scheduled on your device. They need notification permission: check that notifications for Sourdough Master are allowed in your system settings. The app's Settings screen tells you when permission is missing.
Reminders are deliberately scheduled without demanding exact-alarm privileges, so one may arrive a few minutes after its planned time. The app never promises a reminder to the minute, and a reminder tells you what to check — never that the dough is ready.
Moving my recipes to a new phone
Open Settings and export a backup. That produces a single file you choose the location for. On the new device, open Settings and import that file. The backup is your copy: Pixel Crust never receives it, and it is not encrypted, so store it somewhere you are comfortable with.
Changing the language
Settings offers English, עברית, or following your device's language. The change applies immediately, including right-to-left layout for Hebrew.
Does it work offline?
Yes, always. The app makes no network requests at all.

התזכורות הן אפשרות לבחירתכם ומתוזמנות במכשיר. הן דורשות הרשאת התראות: ודאו שההתראות של Sourdough Master מאושרות בהגדרות המערכת. מסך ההגדרות באפליקציה מציין כאשר ההרשאה חסרה.
התזכורות מתוזמנות במכוון ללא דרישת הרשאות להתראות מדויקות, ולכן תזכורת עשויה להגיע כמה דקות אחרי הזמן המתוכנן. האפליקציה אינה מבטיחה תזכורת מדויקת לדקה, ותזכורת אומרת מה לבדוק — לעולם לא שהבצק מוכן.
העברת המתכונים למכשיר חדש
פתחו את ההגדרות וייצאו גיבוי. נוצר קובץ אחד שאתם בוחרים היכן לשמור. במכשיר החדש, פתחו את ההגדרות וייבאו את אותו קובץ. הגיבוי הוא העותק שלכם: הוא אינו נשלח אל Pixel Crust ואינו מוצפן, לכן שמרו אותו במקום שנוח לכם.
שינוי שפה
בהגדרות אפשר לבחור English, עברית, או לעקוב אחר שפת המכשיר. השינוי חל מיד, כולל פריסה מימין לשמאל בעברית.
האם האפליקציה עובדת ללא אינטרנט?
כן, תמיד. האפליקציה אינה שולחת בקשות רשת כלל.
